* cut the onion into small pieces and place it over the salami; let it cook for 7 - 8 minutes and add the broth, beans, a cup of water, (or vegetable soup if you have it) bay leaves, pepper, salt and let it boil for 15 minutes,
* in the meantime we make eggs on water and toast the bread,
